Home again (for now)

Well I got home yesterday. I leave again Wednesday. My life has gone crazy. I love it. I love traveling I love everything about it but I just feel like I'm always going. Thursday I have that scholarship thing which I'm nervous about. Then Friday I have a concert with my friend Olivia. Then I should be home longer than 3-4 days. But who knows my life seems to be one big adventure anymore.

Day 2: Quiz Bowl

Today was quiz bowl day. We didn't do horrible, we averaged about 70 per game. 2nd to last game we had 110 and they had 210. But on that one we got two perfect bonuses (30/30) so that was cool because it was because me and Lauren. We also won our last game so that's awesome. Then we all went to half price books (still haven't taken a pic of the book haul. I'll post it soon) then I was dragged back to prom dress shopping found a dress I kinda really liked but it was too much like Lauren's dress. So back to looking. We had dinner at this nice place in the mall. We went to hot topic then back to the hotel for me to do homework. But I can barely stay awake so I'm going to bed soon. Tomorrow I head home and Thursday I'll be in Tulsa for a scholarship opportunity that could end up paying for my college so please pray it goes well.  Then Friday I have a concert with Olivia, BEN RECTOR HERE WE CIME!

Day 1: Back to Texas

I warned you I was coming back! So today we left the house about 7 and we headed for Dallas! It was a good trip here and nothing bad happened although Texas drivers scare me and Lauren. We had Whataburger for lunch then we went to my cousins basketball game. We stumbled apon the Dallas Cowboys bus so we took a pic of it. We then went to prom dress shopping (cue doomsday music) and I loved this one dress but I did not like the price tag. After looking around the mall for a bit we checked into our hotel and then headed to Torchy's! Which is my fave taco place ever. Then to Bahama Bucks which is now my fave ice cream/shaved ice place ever. Then mom surprised us by taking us to half priced books (I'll post the full haul tomorrow because I only took a pic of one book I bought) and now we are at the hotel about to crash so we will be rested for tomorrow's Quiz Bowl match which is the whole reason we are here! This is probably my last match of the season  so it's bittersweet. I can't wait to get out there and have a blast tomorrow!

Ending and the beginning

So I'm home. I'm so tired but I had a blast. I'm going to be home two days then I'll be back in TX for a quiz bowl match. 

Then I'll  be home then I'll be off again on an another adventure. The life of a traveler is never boring 😉

Day 4: Houston Author Bash

Today I am so tired. I got about 4ish hours of restless sleep last night and the past 5 nights. We went swimming last night which also made me tired. 

Today we had lunch at the cheese cake factory with the creators of clean teen publishing which was awesome. They are super sweet ladies and I loved getting to know them. Then we went to the museum which I thought was pretty boring because I feel like I've seen all this stuff already but whatever I got pictures and saw some cool stuff at the gift shop. Then we had whattaburger but I just had a milkshake because I was still full. Then we got back to the RV and I read "Playing With Fire" a #Hackers novel by sherry.... Something.... Oops...

Anyways. We have to get up at 5 in the morning and then leave to go home at 6. That's not going to be fun.

Bo told me to give this to my boyfriend... I told him I didn't have one but then he told Me who he was talking about and I wanted to throw this at him. That dude is not my boyfriend.

Day 3: Houston Author Bash

I loved the book signing! It was so so so much fun! But I'm such a loser! I forgot to get pictures with authors! I was so busy becoming friends I didn't get pictures! 😕

But I got books and  I got a toy dragon and some swag but most of these books I was not going to read because they were dirty. There were only three other authors I would want/could read. 

Then this poor guy who just started, his book actually sounds crazy cool I just don't know how creepy it will be I might have to skim stuff 😂

I'm loving this trip and I'm so glad I got to come.

Tonight we are eating dinner with Quinn's cousin and then she's making me work out again. 

Tomorrow we are going to spend the day in Houston then Monday we take the long drive home. 

Day 2 Houston Author Bash trip

We made it to Houston! Today has been long with driving and we had a problem with the water in the RV but it's all fixed and now we are winding down for bed. So that's good. Because I'm tired. 

Tomorrow is the book signing and I'm so excited!

I can't wait to meet other authors and I've had some of Quinn's fan say they can't wait to meet me which blows my mind.

Quinn worked me out till I felt nauseous. 

Fixed the water. 

And yeah that's it. 

So now I'm going to get around for bed and then read some of Quinn's Den of Sorrows.

I read it as she writes it how cool is that!

Day 1:Houston Author Bash

Yesterday was day one of my trip to Houston Author Bash. 

I was at school for the first two hours then left after Bo's class. We then drove a really long time to The Loftis' friends Mrs. Jan and Mr. Harold. Mr. Harold works for Wrigley's and he gave us (loftis' one and me one) a bag of candy and gum! The rest of the day was uneventful expect the part where we saw a hand on the road, which probably was fake. We weren't asking questions we were just moving on very quickly. Bo and I also helped Quinn by brainstorming for her books so that was fun. 

But that's about it. Today we will be going to Houston and then tomorrow we are going to do the Houston author bash book signing.
