I'm not your secretary

Okay, I'm going to rant for a minute but it might be longer so don't time me. I'm taking a semester class and I have my midterm coming up and we were reviewing for it and this dude next to me is struggling to keep up with the fast paced teacher. So I glance over to see that he is a few questions behind and the teacher goes back over those questions and the dude stops writing and I whisper, "why aren't you taking notes?" because this test is going to be brutal and hard so we need notes. But this dude says "I can't keep up, I'll just get notes from you later." This is not the first time this has happened, last semester he did the same thing and so did another girl. So this time I decided to stand up for myself. I told him no he would not get my notes because I can't help him this time. He took it as a joke. Joke is on you buddy because I'm not your secretary and I do NOT have to give you my notes or help you. I know this sounds like I'm being mean but when the students depend on you to get them through a class you would be slightly mean as well. So that was a bit longer than a minute but it's my blog so yeah. How are your classes going bloggers? Any people wanting to cheat off you or use your notes to get by because you have the highest grade in the class? -Brittney
